Amma
I was deeply moved by seeing Amma, the mother, last night. I had to share my experience to all of you.
There obviously cannot ever be another Mother Teresa.
After my Amma experience last night, I couldn’t help but think I was in the presence of a woman (Amma) who is following in Mother Teresa’s steps, trailblazing her own path. At the time of Mother Teresa’s death, in 1997, there here Missionaries of Charity continued to expand, and at the time of her death it was operating 610 missions in 123 …

Vegetarian Lifestyle
Vegetarian Lifestyle has more options, says author Anahita Kalianivala. My favorite line of this article is “According to the Surgeon General, nearly 70 percent of all disease in the United States is diet-related.” Another great fact is that a vegetarian saves about 83 farm yard animals/year by not eating them.

Austin(Goodbye for now)
It was about 10 am, Faune was in the other room reading a book and she heard the famous battle cry “No, Come Back!” Yes, it had happened. Both Chauncey and Murphy (the 2 cute dogs to the left – Chauncey the black lab and Murphy, the pug/chihuahua mix) escaped my watchful eye. As Chauncey is a bit skittish around me and tended to pee whenever I tried to grab him, I thought I’d let him out the door “a little” before I put his leash on. Little …

Went to see Dessa Rose tonight, a wonderful musical put on by Theatre Works in Mountain View, CA. It is a heartwarming and yet times gut-wrenching story of a woman who stands up for herself and breaks the bonds of slavery, while helping others in the process. The singing, acting and music is superb. I highly recommend checking it out. I have a strong suspicion this one will make it to Broadway.Tech Stuff

It was a wonderful World Vegetarian Day celebration over the weekend. Relive it with Videocasts of the event. Two of the keynote speakers were John Robbins, the man who turned his back on the Baskins-Robins ice cream fortune that his father built and recently wrote a book about “Staying Healthy at 100″ and Howard Lyman, the Mad Cowboy, a 5th generation cattle rancher who has been vegan for many years and promotes vegetarianism with gusto.

Well, I’m in Las Vegas, staying in the Santa Fe Station. It’s a casino out in the burbs a bit, but full of gambling, food, concerts and even a Starbucks!
I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s Send Out Card’s Treat ‘em Right Seminar, a wonderful seminar I’ve attended twice before.
I can’t believe how wonderful and easy this service truly is. This simplicity and the wonderful feeling people express when they get my cards is why I’m such a proud distributor of the product which allows people to send Hallmark-type paper …
