We keep rolling on with more Palm OS news and cool software. I’m continually inundated with more and more questions about the Palm, so I’m giving it a bit more airtime with this Part 3 of the series. Due to the hugely successful Palm OS platform, many people have written software to replace and or supplement the built-in software. Most of it is very inexpensive and is quite powerful. I would highly suggest you check out the links below and see where your Palm needs can be fulfilled. I would LOVE to hear if you have a software product for the PALM OS you would like to share with me (and the rest of the readers). I will put in next newsletter.   Address Book This is probably the best utility for the Palm I own. I use it daily. It’s so easy to look up names and numbers. It has a great color interface, too.   PhoneMate by MobiMate http://www.mobimate.com/phonemate/index.shtml   Backing Up Another wonderful utility that backs up every application and data on handheld to your hard disk. They have a version to backup to inserted card as well. I’m currently using Datebook 4 (which will soon be Datebook 5). I love it for it’s linking feature that allows you to link appointments to contacts with ease. There are many programs out there, which allow full word processing, which integrates with MS Word.
