Hope you're having an enjoyable Summer. Just getting back from England (Manchester,
then the Cotswolds) and Ireland, I'm settling back in to computer consulting
and web design. I have to say I enjoyed being "unplugged" for much
of my 2.5 weeks - no cell phone, no faxes, very limited email and web access.
If you haven't been away "from it all" in a while, give it a go!
Enjoy, Clyde
New and exciting Sony Clie - Handheld Computer
http://sonyelectronics.sonystyle.com/micros/clie/models/ux50.html
This one rocks! It's a clam shell mini computer masquerading as a Palm handheld.
This little baby has it all - watch movies, listen to music, voice recorder,
time zone tracker, digital camera, Wi-Fi (you can get email/web at home with
wireless network or in coffee shops/restaurants who offer wireless Internet),
bluetooth (use cell phone or laptop to hook up to Internet without wires), digital
camera, back lit keyboard, document reader/translator (Excel, Word, Acrobat,
HTML). All this can be had for the low, low price of (gulp) $699.

More about SoBig.F Virus, Spam Prevention This is one of the nastiest viruses
to date. The good news is that it doesn't touch your data if you click on it.
The bad news is that it turns your machine into a virus generating monster.
Sadly, this one will keep sending on viruses until September 10th or until everyone
disinfects their machines. If you've started getting lots of returned mail that
you didn't send - this doesn't mean you have the virus - it's just part of the
virus affecting all the computer users.

Ramen - The Noodle Dish Since I was a kid, I've loved ramen (the noodle dish
in a bowl surround by broth and added ingredients for more flavor). My mom (who's
probably reading this) used to load us up on the many different flavors of ramen
(chicken, beef, pork, vegetable) - 5 packs for a dollar. We'd mix in ham, onions
or even a egg to give us a little protein. When I saw the movie "Tampopo" several
years back, it rekindled my interest in this comfort food. Maybe these sites
will rekindle yours........
